Hawkes Bay Turning Collaboration 2017 This invitational Turning Collaboration began at Fielding in 2006. Over the following four years in that town the style and content of the Collaboration grew and matured. In 2011 the Collaboration moved to Putaruru with new and different challenges. Now it is held at Napier Boys High in sunny Hawkes Bay, this year with 30 invited participants – not all woodturners – some painters, carvers, and a silversmith.
